Numerous managers feel that, by supplying their staff with basic training in occupational health and safety, they are well prepared to manage any situation. The truth is that, irrespective your industry, a basic education in health and safety regulations and risk asessment simply is not adequate. You need to provide your staff with competent supervision, not to mention provide the right safety gear and give them the opportunity to practice.
To have hopes and dreams for the future is a wonderful idea. If you want to call them ‘goals’ that’s fine also but do learn to get things in perspective. They are NOT achieved in the way you have been led to believe.
